By booking an appointment and/or receiving services at Brazilian Waxing by Sisters (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you acknowledge and agree to the Terms of Service outlined below. Please read this document carefully. If you have any questions, please contact your selected location prior to your appointment.
Client Acknowledgement and Consent
Sensitive skin can burn from waxing procedures. Accutane and Retin-A or Retinol and Accutane are drying to the skin; therefore, waxing may lead to removal of skin, which may cause scarring. Waxing over sunburned or very tanned skin may lead to removal of the skin, which may cause scarring. Diabetics may have difficulty healing when a wound or lesion occurs on the skin, as the immune system may not function fully to fight bacteria. Allergies to any of the product ingredients used in waxing may cause severe allergic reactions.
I confirm (to the best of my knowledge) that the information I have provided is accurate and complete. I have not withheld any information that may be relevant to my treatment and/or the results thereof. I am aware that there are inherent risks associated with skin care services, including waxing procedures, and that the services I am about to receive could have unfavorable results, including, but not limited to: allergic reaction, irritation, burning, redness, scarring, bruising, swelling, infection, ingrown hairs, skin lifting, or other adverse reactions.
I understand that individual results vary based on skin type, medications, hormones, and aftercare. I agree to follow all aftercare instructions provided by Brazilian Waxing by Sisters to reduce the risk of irritation or complications.
Medical Conditions and Contraindications
You agree to inform us before your service if you are pregnant, diabetic, prone to keloids, have sensitive skin, are using any prescription or topical medication (including Accutane, Retin-A, Retinol, antibiotics, or exfoliating acids), have had recent chemical peels, laser treatments, microneedling, or any other skin treatments, or if you have sunburn, open wounds, rashes, or irritation in the treatment area.
We reserve the right to refuse or modify any service if we believe it may not be safe for you due to your skin condition, medications, or other contraindications.
Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
You understand and voluntarily accept all risks associated with waxing and skincare services performed at Brazilian Waxing by Sisters. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless Brazilian Waxing by Sisters, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and independent technicians from all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from or related to the services provided, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Appointments, Deposits, and Cancellations
Appointments are reserved specifically for you. For certain services and peak days, a deposit may be required to secure your appointment. By booking, you agree to comply with our Deposit, Late, and Cancellation Policies, which are incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference.
Payments and Refunds
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise stated. All services are final sale. Refunds are not provided for services rendered. If you have concerns about your service, please contact the location where your appointment took place within a reasonable time so we may evaluate the situation and determine an appropriate resolution.
Client Conduct
We are committed to providing a safe, clean, and respectful environment. Inappropriate behavior, harassment, sexual comments, or disrespect toward staff or other clients will not be tolerated and may result in immediate refusal of service and permanent booking restrictions.
Photography and Marketing (Optional)
With your consent, we may take photographs of treated areas for educational, documentation, or marketing purposes. Your identity will not be disclosed without your written permission. You may opt out at any time by notifying us prior to your service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Any changes will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
